Obituary of Dorothee Osmond

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Dorothee Osmond on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Please visit www.elliottmadill.com for more information on the family’s wishes and to view a memorial video that will be posted in the coming days.

With her loving family by her side, after a valiant battle with metastatic brain cancer, at Strathroy Hospital, on Sunday, August 8th, 2021, Dorothee Osmond (DVM, BSc) of Mount Brydges in her 48th year. 

Beloved husband of Jamey Osmond (DVM) for 17 years.  Proud and cherished mother of Ben, Fynn, and Emma.  Loving daughter of Ursula and Manfred Kolster of Hamilton.  Dear sister of Kathrin Kolster of Germany.  Sorrowfully missed by the extended Osmond and Kolster families.  Dorothee and Jamey own and operate the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic and she will be greatly missed and remembered for her contributions to the community. 

As per Dorothee’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation with a private family interment Madill Cemetery, Mount Brydges.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered, and Dorothee touched many, many lives. A Tribute Memory Book in honour of her legacy will be created as a keepsake for the family.
