Wanda, Steven and David Greenly posted a condolence
Wednesday, January 2, 2019
To Sylvia, Brian, Kathy and your families, please accept our heartfelt condolences on Jim's passing.
As children of your good friends and Barbershop members Howard and Eve Greenly, we literally grew up as extended family of Jim, Sylvia and other cherished members of the chorus like the Weir's, the Gripton's, the Petch's, the Spencer's and so many, many more....
Our youth was spent in many Barbershop-related events, such as Horseshoe tournaments at the Lambeth Legion, snowmobiling at the McDougall's farm in Strathroy, also the many concerts we attended and the many parties and events held at various homes, farms and the campground in Parkhill.
The wonderful singing, camaraderie and friendships we were exposed to in our youth are still with us in our adult lives. We have all been blessed for being part of an amazing extended family all these years, and it is so sad to lose a friend such as Jim.
His booming voice...whether in song or in laughter, will always be missed...
Love from the Greenly kids: Wanda, Steven and David.
