Obituary of Barbara Lorraine Lysko

Peacefully after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 31^st, 2023.  Barbara Lorraine Lysko (nee McLeod) of Mount Brydges in her 77^th year.

She leaves behind her sons John (Tracy), Bill (Elaine) and daughter Lorie (Tim) as well as grandchildren Meghan (Kevin), Justin, John, James, Mikayla, Matthew, Luke and Celeste and Great grandchildren Laya and Emmett. Sadly missed by brother Gerald (Shirley) and Sister-In-Laws Karen, Carol, Frances and Addani (Rob) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Remembered by dear friend Mark Archer and family. Wife of the late Wayne Lysko and mother of the late Joseph Lysko. Loving daughter of the late Wilfred and Florence McLeod and Daughter-In-Law to the late John and Edna Lysko. Predeceased by her brothers Bob, Fred, Barry,  and sister Brenda and best friend Debbi Archer. A special thankyou to Dr. Tain Xaio and the Palliative Care Staff of L.H.S.C for finally giving us the answers when no one else did. A heartfelt thankyou to the St. Josephs Hospice for their wonderful care for mom for the short time she was there.

Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Thursday, June 1^st,   2023 from 6pm to 9pm where a memorial service to celebrate Barbs life will be held on Friday from the funeral home commencing at 11am. At Mrs. Lysko’s request Cremation has taken place. Interment Longwood Cemetery, Melbourne. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Josephs Hospice would be appreciated by the family. www.elliottmadill.com
