Obituary of Frances Mary Wahl

Peacefully at home, with family by her side, on Saturday March 12th, 2022.  Frances Wahl (nee Weber) of Strathroy, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Frank (2011), who together shared almost 60 years of marriage.

Dearly loved mother of Frank Jr. (Maureen), Debbie (Harold Boekhoven) and Vicki (Peter Brenner). Proud grandmother of Heather Wahl Jordan (Kevin); Alec Boekhoven (Shelby), Clark Boekhoven (Cathleen), Neil Boekhoven (Chryssy) and Hilary Boekhoven (Trevor). Sister of Margaret Weber Cramer of Michigan. Predeceased by her son, Gary (1975); her parents, John Weber & Margaret Wagendorfer; and brother, John Weber. Loving great-grandmother to Shae Jordan (Heather & Kevin); Evan, Nash & Ava Boekhoven (Alec & Shelby); Hannah & Clara Boekhoven (Clark & Cathleen); Peter Boekhoven (Neil & Chryssy).  Aunt Frances will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Frank & Frances enjoyed travelling together in Northern Ontario and the road took them to British Columbia several times.  Frances loved spending creative time at her sewing machine, becoming an avid and talented quilter.  She was a member of the London Quilters’ Guild and has left many beautiful quilts for her family to treasure. 

In remembrance of Frances, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. 

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Elliott Hall of the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges, on Monday, March 21st, visitation at 11:00 AM, service to follow at 12 noon.
