Obituary of Layton Elijah Jr.
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Harley Layton Elijah Jr. (Waha?titi) at his home in Onyota^aka, March 4, 2022 in his 33rd year
Layton was known by many for his strong warrior spirit, contagious laughter, quick wit, and his unconditional generosity. He was always wearing a big smile on his face and everyone he saw would get a big hug.
Predeceased by his mother, Veronica Nicholas and survived by his father Harley Layton Elijah Sr.
Layton leaves behind his one and only daughter, Chanel Elijah. Layton will be missed and loved forever by his partner and best friend of 15 years, Vanessa Cornelius. Layton was adored and deeply loved by his siblings, Duane Nicholas and Lori (Jason) George. Layton will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, Brittany, Jade, Summer, Duane Jr., Shanessa, Zennon, and Marissa. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. With a special mention to his boyz, who he was closest to, Louie, Shane, Daniel, Alex, Dewman, Willy, Joe, and Cody.
Layton will be terribly missed by his furbabies, Blaze, Kilo, Kasha, and Keeda.
Family & Friends will be will received on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 at 1336 Townline Road, RR 2, Southwold, after 12:00 noon. Funeral service will be from the house on March 9th at 11:00 am. Interment Longhouse Cemetery, Oneida.
