Obituary of Madeline Ireland
After a brief illness at St. Thomas Hospital, on Thursday, February 10th, 2022, Madeline Ireland (nee: Doxtator) “Kanatay^thu” of Oneida Nation of the Thames in her 90th year.
Loving mother of Delores (Tyman), Doreen, Hiram Jesse (Elaine), Patty, Rick, Charlene, and Betty (Tom). Proud grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donna (Colin), Vern (Brenda), and Grant (Ada). Survived by her daughter in laws Myra Ireland and Alberta Smith, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her son Larry, stepson Lorne Smith, her granddaughter Tara, her husband Hiram, her siblings Annet, Dalton, Leland, Fredrick, Ted, Margaret, Kahizie, Ravon, Ivan, and Melvin, and her parents Fred and Emily (nee: Hill) Doxtator.
Friends will be received at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Monday, February 14th, 2022, from 10 am until 12 noon where a private Celebration of Madeline’s will be held commencing at 12 noon.
