Obituary of Mary Kelly Down (nee Scherer)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful, kind, generous mom, Mary Down, at the age of 95 on February 4, 2022. Loving mother to Lynda (Dave) Moore, Catherine Wheaton (Doug) and Marilyn (Jeff) Maes. Mom truly treasured her grandchildren Lisa (Rob), Krista (Wade), Melissa (Trevis), Michelle ( Marc), Danielle (Jay), Linda (Joe), Rik (Carmen), Jennifer (Rob). Her many great grandchildren brought her great joy. Predeceased by her husband Albert, sister Elizabeth, brother George and sister in law Irma. Survived by her sisters Katie and Roseann. At mom's request cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.

Donations to the Strathroy Legion Branch 116 would be appreciated. 

We would like to give a very special thank you to the nurses and doctors on 2nd floor south and the staff at Sprucedale for the care and kindness they showed our mom.
