Marlene Abram

Obituary of Marlene Andrea Abram

Anyone that knew Marlene, knew that she loved bingo. She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, visiting the casinos, and going shopping. She was the happiest when her family was gathered together to eat meals lovingly prepared by her and her daughters. Marlene was the core of her family. She was that safe place you could turn to through any hardships and she helped you to see the light in any situation. She beamed with light any time she’d notice any family members coming to visit. She was a strong woman who knew what she wanted and didn’t settle for anything less.

Marlene worked as a Homemaker with Oneida for much or her life. When she retired she spent her time enjoying her family. She enjoyed being a member of the Oneida Homemakers Club and spent her last term as the “Sunshine Lady”. She was always lending a helping hand when needed. She was a valuable volunteer as well at the Oneida Long Term Care Home. She loved tending to her flowers and watching the hummingbirds come to her feeder every year.

She is loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
