Obituary of Lorne Wayne Smith
Peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and daughters at St. Thomas Hospital on Sunday, September 26th, 2021, Lorne Smith of Oneida Nation, started his journey back to the Creator in his 74th year.
Beloved husband of Alberta Smith (nee: Ninham). Loving father of Joscelyne, Kathryn (Vaughn), and Alisyn. Proud grandpa of Justine (Matthew), Joey (Aysha), Jaelyne, Jakob, Justin, Kamdyn, and Quinn and his great grandchildren Stella and Hudson. Remembered fondly by his special nephew-son Todd Nicholas, special aunt Barbara Antone and family and his siblings Jacqueline, Tracey, Jason, Delores, Doreen, Jesse Sr., Patricia, Rick, Charlene, Betty, and the late Larry. Predeceased by his parents Georgina (Smith) Nicholas and Hiram Ireland Sr., his grandmother Mabel Smith, and his aunt Kathleen Smith.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Lorne’s Life will be held at a later date.
