Dear Vicki and Family:
We would love to be in Canada with you this week, but we will have to be virtual and in spirit to celebrate Marty, his life and his legacy. Please know that our love, prayers, hope and well wishes continue, and that no distance can keep you from our thoughts.
We lite this candle for Marty and for all of you, it serves as a reminder that he lives on in each of us who have had the honor of knowing him, this is especially true for his loving family.
Regrettably, his time was cut short, creating a great void in your lives (dam that cancer), but because Marty made great use of the days and years God gave him, this void can now be filled with fond memories and signs from heaven. This is evidenced by the out pouring of love, support and signs you received over the last year. Thank you for sharing your facebook posts, they invoke many emotions and memories of our beloved Marty.
He is loved, not forgotten and ever present in your lives.
On Thursday, please find comfort and solace as you gather to remember and celebrate Marty, So Live, Love, Laugh and Cry this is good medicine and it will be a great day.

So saddened to hear of Marty’s passing. Marty was larger than life – always going out of his way to cheer up the people he met. I remember attending boy’s weekends; visiting a different NFL city each year – with Marty as our ring leader. He will be sorely missed.
