It saddens my heart yet rejoices at the same time, to hear of Josephs passing. I’ve known Joseph for years as he would always come into the Upper Room while I worked there. He would always show up on his bicycle.
I often wondered what became of Joseph after the stored closed. Then after many years, he showed up at Village Green Church one day. We had a number of conversations there. But what I saw at VG was a man so in love with God despite the incredible dificulties life had given this man. A heart of worship that moved me to tears, seeing this broken man raising his hands in worship to his Creator. I will miss seeing his face, but he is whole, he is perfect in Christ. May he rest in peace!

I am sad to hear about joseph. I will miss his smile. I met him once at Westmount mall . We had been friends ever since. I will miss his prayers for me. I am sure. He is glad to be home with his parents and The Lord. I will always keep him in my heart.
My condolences to his family

We always enjoyed Joseph's smile and deep relationship with the Lord when he attended our Saturday Night Gospel Sing in Bothwell. Joseph loved to pray for his people and those who had needs. We enjoyed hearing his story of how he rode his bicycle around Bothwell while singing gospel music. He will certainly be missed but never forgotten. We know he is Home with The Lord now and we look forward to meeting him again in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joseph's family.
Blessings, Howard and Lynda Gould

I was saddened (for us) to learn of Joseph's passing this week. I got to know him over a decade ago as he visited regularly my training centre for service dogs in Westmount Shopping Centre. His smile was infectious and he always had many words of encouragement for anyone who's path he crossed. We shared a common faith and he prayed diligently for my family and my service dogs and never missed an opportunity to inquire with my mother in the recent years how I was doing and how the dogs were and to remind her (and me) that he still prayed for us even though our paths now rarely crossed. I am so thankful to have met Joseph and been the beneficiary of his prayers for so many years. We have lost such a warm and caring person but our loss is indeed his gain. Today, he is in the presence of his Lord and I've no doubt he has heard "Well Done...GOOD and FAITHFUL servant". I will carry his smile with me in my memories and will pray for his family that remains as he comes to my mind in the days and years ahead. May you all know as he did, how deep and wide and high God's love and care is for you. Donna Frezell/Golden Opportunity Assistance Dogs, London, ON
