Obituary of Klaas Leistra

The Lord in His mercy and grace, in His appointed time and providence, has taken to his eternal home, Klaas Leistra, peacefully at his residence in his 89^th year. Beloved husband to Etty Leistra (nee Renkema) since 1960. Cherished father of John (Evelyn) of Mt. Brydges and Gwen (Michael) Van Gurp of Woodstock. Proud grandfather of Nicholas (Laura), Alex (Samantha), Lianna, Elisha (Allan) Vanderveen, Joshua (Deidre) Van Gurp and their daughter Shaelynn, Jonathan (Chelsea) Van Gurp, and Benjamin Van Gurp. Klaas immigrated from Holland in July 1955 and worked for 40 years for Esam Group of London.

The family will be receiving guests at the Providence United Reformed Church (447 2^nd Street Strathroy) on Tuesday December 3rd, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday commencing at 11am. Reverend Harry Zekveld officiating. Interment Mount Brydges Cemetery.
