Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital where she was a nurse for many years on Friday, May 3, 2019. Betty Douglas, in her 85th year, now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Robert (2014) and her son Darryl (2009) whom she missed every day. Beloved and cherished mom to Deb (Dave McCarthy) and Darlene Gray. Loving Grandma to Kailey and Tyson Gray and Derek and Breanne Smith & great grandma to Karson. Special sister to Donna (late Bob Patterson). Dear daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Wernham. She will be missed by relatives, nieces and nephews and by many friends and neighbours who watched over her and visited after Robert passed away. Deb and Darlene would like to thank Dr. Buma for many years of excellent care right up to her last hours. A private family service will be held at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mt. Brydges. Interment Mt. Brydges Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimers Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
