Obituary of Karen Elsbeth Goetz

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Elsbeth (Guss) Goetz of Delaware at Victoria Hospital on Monday December 3rd, 2018. Survived by her best friend and husband Larry. Incredible Mom to son Cory and daughter Cassidy. Fondly remembered by Father/Mother-in-law Gerry and Geraldine (Maryhill, ON), brother/sister-in-law Greg and Susan (Elmira), sister Judy (Guss) Hamel, brother-in-law Mike Hamel (Chilliwack, BC), niece Michelle and nephews Marcel, Derek, Brent and Zack.

Karen was born September 23, 1956 in Guelph, ON to Johann Guss and Bronislawa (Chudzik) Guss. Married Larry on September 22, 1979.  She graduated from the University of Guelph with her Bachelor of Science and Agriculture in 1979. Karen volunteered with the local baseball association as a coach as well as the local Scout Troop.  Karen’s children were her world. She did everything she could to look after her son while he was sick, and homeschooled both of her children for several years. She was her husband’s best friend and greatest support system. Karen was an extraordinarily caring and compassionate person.

There will be a public Celebration of Life held at Springbank Civic Gardens, 645 Springbank Dr. London, ON on Sunday December 16^th from 2pm to 4pm. Elliott Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges entrusted with arrangements.
