So so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. He was a gentle and caring neighbour/ father, as I and my many siblings grew up across the field from the Dalgity home. We all shared a special bond on that stretch of road. His family is always in our hearts.

I have been working with Carolyn for 11 years, and Ed was such a huge presence there! I got to witness the love between father/daughter for many years. Ed used to love to tell me stories from the war, and we would sit and review ALL the aircrafts he was so knowledgeable about and loved to share that with myself and other patients. His memories were so vivid! He always took interest in my life and family, and cared and listened! He will be truly missed! Much love! (from Carolyn’s left brain!)

I'm saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Ed. I didn't know him as well as I would have liked, but I do remember talking to him whenever my late Grandma Beth (Beth Burdick) and I would visit him. I remember him as being a very kind and friendly person. He always had a smile on his face and often had a good story to tell. I also remember how he used to have a self playing piano in his home. Now, whenever I pass his old house on the outskirts of London, I will think of him.

Ed was a very kind and caring man. We enjoyed visits with him every other Wednesday with a Tim Hortons coffee and a raisin bran muffin. He sure loved his timmies. And our visit would always end with a hug and he always made sure we would leave with root beer and a ginger ale for the ride home. He would say to us you are not just my cleaning people you are like family to me. We will miss him deeply. And to Eds family sorry for your loss. He was a great man.
