Lillian,
Your kindness and natural nurturing ability made others, especially children, feel so welcomed and comfortable in your presence. Your eyes and smile brightened every room you were in.
We love you so much and we will miss you even though you will be alive forever in our hearts.
Love always,
Shawn and Laura Ireland

Lillian,
A natural mother figure to all, and a deeply kind and loving woman. Your love and loyalty for your family is boundless, and I am so grateful to have been apart of that family.
I will forever smile when I try to open a mushroom packet, and envision your trying to clap along to the 'Friends' introduction. You are an effortlessly hilarious woman, whose smile and laugh are contagious. You made all of our lives brighter. Your innocent eyes and glowing smile will always be remembered.
My adoptive mother - I wouldn't be the woman today if it weren't for you. You will forever have a place in my heart, home and table. Please visit us (and whisper to us the secret to your prawn cocktail and Yorkshire pudding while you're at it)!
The sun has got his hat on. Hip hip hip hip hooray!
Until we meet again, beautiful Lillian. I love you.
~Anne

Lillian.
My lovely friend of 50 years. I can't find the words to tell you how I am going to miss you. Even though you were more than 3000 miles away we managed to share so much - not least our love of The Archers! No one else 'gets it' as you did!
The fun Adrian and I had on our visits to you and Ian. So much laughter. So many funny moments.
Just remembering.....the elephant......the 'Maid of The Mist'!.....the two of us being mistaken for actresses at Stratford....makes me smile, and I can hear your lovely, infectious laugh!
I loved our yoga sessions together - you were a natural.
You will always be in my thoughts and heart. I love you very much. Thank you for being the most amazing friend.

A light has definitely gone out in our lives auntie lil... you and uncle Ian are the only happiness we truly knew. They say life is a lesson and if that is true this is the hardest lesson we have been taught.... I will never accept that you have been taken from us!! We will always be beyond lucky to have been blessed with such a beautiful, caring, loving auntie... I would do anything to pick up the phone and hear you say “hello my love” one more time or to see you get cramp in your toes now that was pretty special... we now have a real guardian angel watching over us....fly high auntie lil I will miss you for the rest of my days and I can’t wait to see you again one day!! Love you so much words can’t describe!!!! Xxxxxxxxx

Lillian was beautiful inside and out. We feel blessed to have known her even for a short time. Her strength and her determination are inspirational to us on many levels. May we live a qualitative life as she has taught us by example. Love to her family.
