Ann Christine Dolson (Halsey) Drennan

Peacefully at St Thomas Hospital on Monday, June 25, 2018, Ann Dolson of Muncey
Ontario and formerly of Detroit Michigan, passed away in her 75th year. Beloved
wife of Stan Dolson. Proud mother of Greg Halsey of New Orleans, Louisiana and
Jay Halsey of Detroit, Michigan. Sadly missed by granddaughter Brigette Halsey
and great-granddaughters Annalise and Savannah.
Dear sister of Jane Broomfield and her husband Fern, Jim Coburn and his wife Sue.  She was loved by Stan’s children, Barbara Fisk, Debora Belmont, Stanley R Dolson Jr. and Kathryn Dolson (deceased),  grandchildren and great – grandchildren.  Survived by many nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces..
Ann had lived at the Oneida Long Term Care Home with her husband “Bear” for the
last few years. She had many friends she shared laughter and fun with. She was a
lady who loved to shop and change her wardrobe. Her many outfits were seen by
the caring staff at Oneida. She was a strong and determined Scottish lass, who
fought to survive against many illnesses. She will be missed by her friends and
family. Her pain and sorrow are gone now, and she is resting in the hands of the
Lord, who welcomes all who are weary to come home.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a
later date. Memorial donations to Make a Wish Foundation or share a smile, a
lunch or a visit with the Oneida Long Term Care residents, who enjoy
celebrating life with all who come to call.

A celebration of Ann’s life will take place at a later date.
