Obituary of Donald G Campbell

Peacefully at home in Coldstream on Saturday, October 31st, 2015. Donald G. Campbell in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Murphy). Loving father of Marie Campbell (Dennis Van Der Hoeven) of Port Dover, Ross(Gayle) Campbell of London, Allan (Kim) Campbell of Strathroy. Dear grandfather of Wesley, Janaya & Rachel. Predeceased by his brother Keith, and sisters Marion & Mildred (and survived by her husband Ian Davidson). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Don loved trees and planted many for future generations to enjoy. He was also a lifelong farmer, a volunteer of the Strathroy Scouts, and a member of the Ivan Cemetery board, Lobo volunteer fireman and the Old Tyme Heritage dances. Friends may call at the Elliott-Madill Komoka Chapel (22568 Komoka Rd) on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral service to follow on Wednesday from the chapel commencing at 1:00 pm. Interment Ivan Cemetery. Donations to Melville United Church Bldg fund or the S.M.G.H Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
