Obituary of Mercia Elijah

Suddenly, at Windsor Regional Healthcare on Friday, September 15th Mercia "Roxanne" Elijah (nee Summers) of Oneida of the Thames First Nation in her 54th year. Beloved wife of Vern Elijah. Loving mother of Suzanne (Keith), Rachel, Taylor (Bethanne), Ken (Roxanne), Kelly (Ann), and Katy. Cherished grandmother of Summer (Evan), Carissa, Ashlyn, Mason, Sequoia, Avery, Marcus, Mya, Macie, Makyla, Hailey, Misty, Taylor Jr., Sophia, Madison, Kealy, Jazmin (Josh), Jordan, Alexis and Aiden. Special great grandmother to Hayden, Kyrin, Xyla, Kezmal and Cecilia. Roxanne will be sadly missed by dear friends Evan and Mary. 

Friends will be received at the home of Suzanne Riley, 1908 Fairgrounds Rd, on Saturday September 16th after noon and Sunday September 17th. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, September 18th at the Longhouse, River Road commencing at 11 a.m. Internment to follow at Oneida Settlement.
