Obituary of Lambertus J Meyer

Peacefully at Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home, Delaware on Thursday December 1st, 2016. Lambertus "Bert" J. Meyer of Delaware in his 88th year. Loving husband of Petronella "Nelly" Meyer (nee Nyssen). Dear father of Jo-Ann, Joe (Ann), Aleta (Roger) Cates, Petra (Mario) Slegers, & Harry (Kiyomi). Cherished Opa of Stephanie, Eric, Nicole, Natalie, Brad, Anthony, Jennifer, Rachel, Matthew, & Eimi. Sadly missed by his several family here and in the Netherlands. Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mt. Brydges on Monday, December 5th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Lions service under the direction of Delaware Lions Club will be held at 6:30pm. Prayers will be said at 8:30pm. Member of the Delaware Legion Branch 598. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Tuesday from Sacred Heart Parish Delaware commencing at 10am with Father Matthew Bedard officiating. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mt. Brydges. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
