Obituary of Hendrika Slaa

Hendrika "Rie" Slaa (nee Verveld) of Mount Brydges passed peacefully in her sleep at the Country Terrace Nursing Home , Komoka on Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Hendrik "Henk" Slaa for 61 1/2 years. Loving mother of Marianne (John) Feenstra, Eric (Ruth) Slaa, and Ronald (Yanitza) Slaa. Oma to Melissa (Andrew) West, Jennifer (Rob) Williford, Michael (Neala) Feenstra, Mark (Caitlin) Feenstra, Tyler, Darren, Brandon, Chantal and Madelyn Slaa. Great Oma to Cassandra and Carson West, and Zoe Williford. Will be sadly missed by many Family and friends in Holland. Friends & family may pay their respects at the Hope Community Christian Church on Thursday from 1pm to 2pm where the funeral service will be held at 2pm. Pastor Phil Apoll officiating. Interment Mount Brydges Cemetery. Donations to the V.O.N or the Hope Community Christian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
