Obituary of Denise Pauline Blyde

Suddenly on September 1st, 2024 at Victoria Hospital, London Health Science Center, Denise Pauline Blyde of Chippewa of The Thames First Nation started the journey to the Spirit World. Denise leaves behind her parents Denis and Janet Blyde, husband David Ross, her sisters Neaoni Weekes, Lacey Weekes, Winnifred Sturgeon, and Pollianna Sturgeon, her children Wasnanaa Blyde, David Blyde, Cassidy Lane, Roseline Bakshi, and Guinevere Sturgeon. As well as, her brothers Levi Sturgeon, (Tammy), and Hector Sturgeon.

Denise is predeceased by son Dakota Blyde, brother Foster Sturgeon, her other dad Elston Sturgeon, and grandma Dorothy Weekes.

She will be missed by other moms Dona Sturgeon, & Cathy Sturgeon, nephews Thomas aka Big Joe, Isaac, Ira, Jeremiah, Cecil, nieces Amanda Sturgeon and Adelaide Sturgeon, many great nephews and nieces as well as several friends and other family members. 

Visitation and memorial services will be held at 25 Middlemiss Ave, Middlemiss, Ontario where there is a sacred fire for people to come and pay respects, and send their prayers to the Spirit world.

Visitation and viewing hours for Denise will commence on September 4th, 2024 from 1 pm til 8 pm.

Memorial will be held Friday, September 6th @ 1 pm. Interment at Middlemiss cemetery.
