Obituary of Yehawi, Sandra Brown

Peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 6^th, 2024.   Yehawi, Sandra Brown of the Oneida Nation of the Thames in her 61^st year.

Loving mother of Sherwin, James, (Candace), Clinton, Troy (Jenny), Charlotte (Dustin), Stephanie and predeceased by Brandie.  Special mom to Kenneth aka Charlie Brown and Cody. Grandmother of Raven, Hazel, Shania, Orsyn, Thoryn, Cheyenne, Shaylynn, Coby, Mya, Clinty, Whitney, Casey, Izabel, Quinten, Carmelo, Lilly, Bryston, Bella, Maddie, Henley, and Isaiah. Great Grandmother of Caliah and Amari.

Sadly, missed by her sister-in-law Virna Brown (Belanger), and siblings, Veronica Ninham, Granger, Brenda Storzer (Rick), Thomas Brown (Betty Ireland), Shirley Brown (Darren Riley), Rip John Brown (Genevie Ireland), Robert Brown (Kathy) and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents Wilbur and Geraldine Brown, husband Clifford Doxtator, brother Belanger Brown (Virna), brother-in-law Douglas Ninham (Veronica).

Sandra was part of the Bear Clan. She was a devoted mother, grand & great-grand mother to her family.  She enjoyed going to bingo and the casino and spending time with her family. 

Family will receive friends at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Saturday, June 8^th, 2024, from 7pm – 9pm.  Sunday Visitation at her home at 709 Iroquois Road, Southwold after 7 pm. Service will commence from the Longhouse, River Road, Oneida on Monday June 10^th, 2024, at 11:00am, Interment Longhouse Cemetery.
